Enterasys Improves Growth Opportunities for Partners with Updated Program

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

Enterasys Networks, a Siemens Enterprise Communications Company, with an aim to improve growth opportunities for partners has updated its partner program.

Officials with Enterasys (News - Alert) said that the company has made significant enhancements to its Advantage Partner Program to deliver improved growth and revenue opportunities to partners.

Company officials pointed out that the updated program offers an array of new features and tools, increased Marketing Development Funds and a new "Diamond Partner" level, all designed to bring even greater opportunity and success to partners.

"Black Box (News - Alert) Network Services is pleased to be recognized as a 2011 Enterasys Diamond Partner," said Brian Jones, vice president at Black Box Network Service, in a statement.

Jones said that this elite status combined with the Enterasys New Deal Registration Program enables the company to serve clients' needs at the highest level.

“The channel-focused culture at Enterasys is a key factor driving the success of our partnership," he said.

According to company officials, one of the key upgrades to the program is the addition of a simplified "New Deal Registration" process, which makes it easier and faster for partners to identify special pricing opportunities for new business deals.

New Deal Registration allows Enterasys partners to protect business opportunities and become eligible for additional discounts off Enterasys list price. This not only speeds the quote process, but also delivers industry-leading margins and price protection through the sales process.

"As a long time Enterasys channel partner we are very excited about the new channel program," said Mike Seitz, director of sales and marketing at IK Electric.

Seitz said that the Enterasys program provides competitively differentiated margins on registered deals as well as additional marketing funds for opportunities that the company brings to them.

“This is a terrific program for our business model and the new Diamond level helps to differentiate us from our competitors," he added.

Company officials said that Enterasys has also added the new "Diamond Partner" designation, which offers premier partners the highest margin incentives for new customer opportunities and Marketing Development Funds.

Partners at the Platinum and Gold levels will also continue to receive an extensive set of support and tools including: incentive programs, sales support, demo kits, product configurator for quoting, cross marketing and joint marketing opportunities, and exceptional sales and technical training.

"Enterasys is committed to making our partner program stand out from others in the industry by providing our partners with unrivaled opportunities and profitability," said Chris Crowell, president and CEO of Enterasys.

"The upgrades to our Advantage Partner Program deliver just what our partners have been asking for even better margins, streamlined processes and even greater growth opportunities,"  said Crowell.

Recently Enterasys Networks announced that it is offering a lifetime warranty on its Enterasys (HiPath) Wireless Controllers.

Enterasys claims to be the first vendor in the industry to offer a lifetime warranty for controllers, augmenting its current comprehensive lifetime warranty offering for wireless access points as well as wired edge switches.

Along with powerful automation capabilities and integrated wired/wireless management capabilities, this enables customers to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) for their wireless network.
