MACH's A2P to Offer Second Factor Authentication via mTAN to MoneYou

By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

MACH (News - Alert), a provider of hub-based mobile communication solutions, stated that its A2P messaging platform has been selected by MoneYou, a subsidiary of banking giant ABN AMRO, for secure mTAN delivery.

The MACH platform will help MoneYou to send codes to its clients’ mobile phones in order to verify their identity, a common method for adding an additional layer of security to banking transactions in Germany. MACH supposedly offers complete reach across German operators and its services are capable of ensuring speed and reliability of message delivery.

MACH explained that SMS has become the ubiquitous connection, virtually guaranteeing that people can be contacted. Industry has been quick to pick up on this with all industry verticals using SMS as a delivery and communication medium. MACH supplies A2P and P2P services to all of these segments, and is a significant player in this space.

MoneYou will now have the ability to deliver mTANs to customers quickly and reliably with MACH’s secure and high-volume carrier-grade mobile messaging platform. MACH asserted that its platform simplifies the complexities found in maintaining interoperability, interworking and connectivity for mobile messaging transactions.

Some of the benefits of MACH’s platform are: users can connect to any destinations on any network their business requires; operate a mobile messaging business in the most cost efficient way; focus on their core business while MACH handles the complexities of the inter-operator back-office; build a business without constraints; and more.

MoneYou maintained that any authentication service in the financial world must be as secure as possible and utterly reliable. It was clear that it required a messaging service that would meet its criteria as well as provide a high quality of customer support. MACH came highly recommended and it believes it would receive just the service it was looking for.

Officials with MACH commented that their messaging platform is ideally suited to the financial sector. By providing real-time delivery receipts, controlling the end-to-end delivery of each message and utilizing carrier grade infrastructure, they provide customers such as MoneYou with the security and reliability they need to transact sensitive data. Their stringent multi nine SLAs and service ensure that they will continue to meet the expectations of MoneYou.
