Ensim (News - Alert) Corporation, a provider of change management, user provisioning and application management software, has entered into a reseller partnership agreement with PI Services France, a consulting and engineering company specialized in system integration and development of Microsoft’s (News - Alert) enterprise platforms.

 

Under the terms of this reseller agreement, Ensim's Unify Enterprise solution will be integrated into PI Services’ software, which is exclusively composed of value-added solutions for the Microsoft enterprise platform, thereby supporting Ensim Unify.

 

PI Services not only designs, but also builds, migrates, optimizes and operates Microsoft’s platforms such as Active Directory, Exchange Server, Windows Server, and other Enterprise Platform products like ForeFront, Systems Center or Office Servers.

 

Francois Depayras (News - Alert), vice president sales and alliances at Ensim Corporation, said that PI Services' expertise in Microsoft infrastructure, particularly around Active Directory, provides an obvious synergy with the solutions Ensim offers.

 

“Through this partnership, we're able to reach a broader market and to not only offer the quality products that Ensim is known for, but also PI Services' proven competence in managing complex infrastructures,” Depayras said.

 

Ensim Unify Enterprise Edition, which was integrated into PI Services’ software by PI Services, is part of company’s Unify product portfolio. The solution eliminates the security issues created by manual application, management and provisioning. In other words, it facilitates enterprises to streamline MS’ Active Directory, OCS, SharePoint, and Exchange management challenges, such as user provisioning, access control, and role management in a secure framework.

 

With the elimination of insecure provisioning processes, Ensim Unify Enterprise Edition not only decreases repetitive administrative tasks, but also addresses some of the key issues that PI Services come across regularly during the audit and consulting processes - at medium and large organizations. Thin in turn, improves security, compliance, and workforce effectiveness. Moreover, the solution also delivers instant savings by reducing the number of help desk calls as much as 40 percent, say officials with Ensim.

 

Apart from Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, and more, Ensim Unify Enterprise Edition also redefines user provisioning and access control for mobility applications such as BlackBerry (News - Alert) Enterprise Server and Windows Mobile.

 

In the release, PI Services’ general director, Claude Petrucci, said that the company’s customers desire to decrease the time as well as the effort that is required to manage their IT infrastructure, while ensuring better security and greater control over transactions. With the help of Ensim Unify solution, the company is now able to provide a unique as well as an intuitive interface, and also all the tools that are necessary to efficiently manage Active Directory and other common applications such as Exchange and Office Communication Server.
