Kaltman Creations, a company specializing in the design and development of products for the wireless, professional audio, IT and broadcast industries, has announced the launch of a new handheld RF spectrum analyzer, Spectran HF60100.
According to Mark Kaltman, president of Kaltman Creations, Spectran HF60100 breaks all “spec vs. price” barriers. It is designed for a frequency range of 1MHz to 9.4GHz. Other important features include: sensitivity 130dbm, bandwidth resolution 1KHz, stability 0.5PPM and accuracy +/- 1db.
HF60100 is a follower of Kaltman Spectran HF4040, the winner of Advancement for Radio Technology (ART) award. HF60100 has many of the features and functionalities of HF4040. The most important aspect of these RF spectrum analyzers is their unbeatable price, thousands of dollars less than comparable units, says Kaltman.
Creating a bulky or expensive analyzer is not reasonable for RF analysis. The new RF analyzer reportedly fills the need at a price that is affordable for anyone, according to Kaltman.
“The timing for this analyzer couldn’t be better with the exponential use of wireless technology and the increased challenges of identifying interference and available frequencies,” said Kaltman.
HF60100 RF analyzers comes in a complete analysis kit along with accessories such as optional internal pre-amp, an SMA (News - Alert) stick antenna, a precision handheld LOG Periodic antenna, AC charger / adaptor, aluminum carrying case, mini-tripod stand, 6-foot USB cable, PC software and documentation. The complete unit is sold at $4,975.
Kaltman Creations' offering of RF spectrum analyzers and antennas are designed for RF applications dealing with frequency and channel selection, wireless product specification, interference abatement, frequency coordination, and testing and measurement, the company said.
The spectrum analyzers and antennas are the perfect tools for audio and video productions; wireless local area network (WLAN) /Wireless Fidelity (WiFi (News - Alert)); cellular, industrial remote control, data acquisition, radio and TV broadcast; business two-way radio, marine, aviation, and any other wireless application.
Kaltman Creations introduced world’s first handheld motorized cable coiler and log periodic antennas. With these innovative products, Kaltman Creations is setting a new pace in the industry. At 2007 InfoComm Show, Kaltman Creations won the InfoComm Pick Hit award for the Spectran series of RF spectrum analyzers.
