Dialogic's PowerMedia XMS Receives NFV Product of the Year Award

Service providers are delivering more real-time media-intensive applications as the demand from both consumers and organizations continues to grow, which is pushing the capabilities of existing networks to their limits. Streaming rich media and cloud applications are just a couple of the services responsible for this demand. With NFV (Network Function Virtualization), operators are experiencing new levels of flexibility, efficiency and agility to react to demands while being able to deliver new products and services.

 The recognition by TMC’s (News - Alert) INTERNET TELEPHONY Magazine of the Dialogic PowerMedia XMS as a 2016 NFV Product of the Year Award winner highlights the innovations the company is making in the acceleration of NFV architecture for service providers to deliver real-time media intensive applications in the cloud.

PowerMedia XMS makes it possible for on premises and cloud deployments to have standards-based, real- time multimedia communications solutions for IMS, MRF, enterprise, and WebRTC applications in a highly scalable software-only media server.
