Dialogic Diva Media Board Seizes the Spotlight
May 17, 2017
Performers find comfort under the bright lights, and “divas” demand due attention on center stage. While over the years, the term has earned some negative connotation for being difficult to work with or overly demanding, the Dialogic Diva Media Boards are anything but. The platform brings reliability and flexibility to the table for communications applications, and one firm in particular is putting it through the paces.
This week, Monitor Computer Systems announced an exciting milestone for its Dialogic (News - Alert) Diva Media Board deployments, as its Sentinel Alarm monitoring system leverages the solution to decode protocols for hand held or body-worn devices for field calls, as well as alarm signals. The Diva Media Boards do more than simply decoding, as they allow for the ability to transfer data and voice calls of importance, in addition to receiving and decoding transmissions.
“We continue to deploy the Dialogic Diva Boards because they can decode all of the protocols we require. We couldn’t find that in any other solution in the market. The Diva boards also are well-supported, world-leading platforms,” said Michael Askew, Managing Director of Monitor Computer Systems. “Our solution is being used by some of the largest security companies in the UK and Ireland, and it saves them a great deal of money because of the scalability and call density it offers.”
In most cases, the Diva Media Boards will function “out of the box” with one’s existing communications applications. But also offer a high level of flexibility in providing many standard APIs like COM port, CAPI, WAN Miniport and TTY).
“Our Diva products are extremely flexible and cost-effective for implementing communication solutions. The products are some of our most diverse in functionality and most flexible in deployment. As we continue to innovate and improve our Diva Media Boards, we expect to see continued deployment, especially in IoT solutions and in replacement of other companies’ end-of-life modems,” said Jim Machi, SVP of Product Management and Marketing.
The landscape of modern communications is vast, but Diva Media Boards are more than capable of meeting the demands of applications ranging from the contact center and IVR, to the conferencing server, unified communications and all the upcoming IoT has in store.
While the Dialogic Media Boards seize the spotlight, it begs the question: Are your communications applications up to snuff?
