'Call Dad' with Zang
June 13, 2017
Family is the foundation of life. Family brings you into this world. Family is there for the highs and lows, failures and successes, rooting us on every step of the journey. While everyday should be an opportunity to tell or show loved ones how much they mean to us, certain days of the year are intended for such an act. Father’s Day is a chance to show Dad how much he means to you, and Zang is offering a way to do this and more with its ‘Call Dad’ service.
Zang announced the ‘Call Dad’ service this week, which offers anyone in the world the opportunity to send an SMS or recorded message to Dad on his day. And, with each message sent, Zang promises to donate $1 to Save the Children – Avaya’s (News - Alert) official corporate charity.
Sending a message to Dad is simple. Go to zang.io/dad, and enter your phone number. Then, enter your telephone number and pick a time you wish Dad to receive the SMS or recording. If leaving a recorded message, the service will call you to record your message. At your selected time, Dad receives your recorded message, and you receive a notification of the sent messages.
“Father's Day is a great time to connect with Dad, no matter where you are or how busy you are, and sometimes that's easier said than done,” said Mohammad Nezarati (News - Alert), GM at Zang, Inc. “We're helping to close the gap. And with every SMS or call recorded matched by a donation of $1 to Save the Children, why wouldn't you reach Dad through the service and help out with a good cause?”
Any man can have a child, but it takes a real man to be a father. So, it is only right to thank Dad for all the catches in the backyard, teaching you how to throw a curveball. For those late nights he stayed up with you to study, or those times when you thought you couldn’t go on, but he gave you the confidence you could persevere.
