Dialogic Debuts Partner Page for Avaya-Compliant Solutions
June 16, 2017
Few communications applications solutions providers have a product portfolio and customer list longer than that of New Jersey-based Avaya (News - Alert). The company has extended its reach over the years by partnering with companies that offer complementary communications products and services and integrating those offerings with Avaya technology.
Avaya’s DevConnect (News - Alert) program is an initiative to develop, market, and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology, so customers can extend the value of their investment in Avaya’s network. Dialogic (News - Alert), a provider of cloud-optimized applications and infrastructure solutions for service providers, enterprises and developers, is one of Avaya’s many partners, and offers a variety of Avaya-integrated solutions.
The most recent Dialogic solution added to the Avaya partner portfolio is Dialogic’s PowerVille LB, which is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Aura Session Manager 7.0, helping businesses scale and enhance the reliability of session manager implementations with active/active and active/standby configurations. Other Dialogic products that have been tested and certified as Avaya Compliant in recent years include the IMG 2020 Integrated Media Gateway and the Controlswitch System.
Now, according to a recent blog post by Dialogic’s James Rafferty (News - Alert), Dialogic has updated its website to make it easier for customers and channel partners to find information about Avaya-compliant solutions by creating a Partner Page.
“This page includes details on the most recently tested Dialogic solutions for Avaya and includes links to application notes, related press releases and customer success stories,” according to Rafferty. “There is also a link to an Avaya Solution Guide, which describes how Dialogic products can complement the Avaya-based technology within enterprises.”
The goal of the page – and the partnership itself – says Rafferty, is to add value to partner solutions.
“Customers can take advantage of the extensive testing conducting during the DevConnect process and reference the related application notes to build Avaya-based solutions which take full advantage of Dialogic’s gateway, load balancing and switching capabilities,” he said.
To become a partner of the DevConnect program, a technology company must submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. A team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it’s compatible with Avaya offerings. This enables Avaya customers to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure. It also helps speed deployment of new applications and reduces both network complexity and implementation costs.
