VisoCon Receives Recognition from Gartner

Gartner (News - Alert) is one of those firms where, when it talks, people listen. It’s one of the most well-respected research firms in the world, making its word gold when it comes to pointing out major players in any industry. That’s why ViscoCon was so excited to announce recently that it has been named in Gartner’s 2017 Cool Vendor report for unified communications.

VisoCon is a developer of smart video collaboration solutions. eyeson, a cloud-based software solution, is VisoCon’s core product and provides users with a reliable video conferencing platform. It is based on a patented real time communication server with Single Stream Technology (SST). Although there are plenty of benefits to SST, its real selling point is its ability to gather audio, video and data inputs from multiple sources, and then merge them into one single video stream deliverable to WebRTC browsers, mobile applications and video content management solutions. eyeson’s scalability makes it a good option for presentations, lectures, meetings and conferencing. It is available for several online collaboration tools, such as Slack, Dopbox and HipChat, and video- and audio quality is always high, no matter how many users are involved in a session.

The usefulness of VisoCon’s eyeson is the reason it was chosen by Gartner as a Cool Vendor in UC. Making the recognition even more impressive is the fact that only four other companies were chosen for that category. The competition is fierce for this level of recognition, and VisoCon was able to land a top five spot.
