The calendar year is winding down, but development in big data and analytics is feeling no ill effects. The enterprise has embraced this burgeoning area of solutions, with no looking back. With the weekend upon us, there’s no better time than the present to take a look at the week that was: time for the Week in Review!
Data is an invaluable resource when accessible. This week UCB turned to Sinequa to accelerate and minimize costs of its clinical trial data searchers. The Sinequa solution will provide UCB with relevant data sets to help answer questions that pop up during clinical testing. Steve Anderson has everything you need to know HERE.
This week, Qualtrics partnered with Tableau on a solution that offers integration between the two firms’ product suites. Qualtrics is best known as an enterprise survey specialist, and with Tableau expertise in big data the end user gains plenty. Combining the Qualtrics platform with Tableaus melds actionable insight with visualization. John Casaretto’s complete report is HERE.
Hermes UK works with online, catalog and high street retailers, and this week it deployed NICE’s workforce management solution in what it calls record time. With the deployment, Hermes UK addresses its unique needs with a solution up to the task. Rory Lidstone has all the details HERE.
Also in the community this week we learned that big data isn’t just for big business anymore. While searching though heaps of data can appear quite the daunting task it is well worth the effort. A recent report from CIO.com.au illustrates that with some tweaking, firms of every size can take advantage of what analytics have to offer. Steve Anderson’s analysis is HERE.
Remember to stop by early and often for all things big data and analytics! Hope you’re holiday season is treating you well! See you next week!
