Aternity Forges Strategic Partnership with CA Technologies for Desktop End User Experience Management

By Madhubanti Rudra, TMCnet Contributor

Aternity (News - Alert) Inc, a company delivering Frontline Performance Intelligence (FPI) Platform for both physical and virtual environments, announced a technology partnership with CA Technologies (News - Alert).

The partnership is aimed at providing customers with proactive end user experience management from the desktop vantage point, the companies explained in a press release.

Under the partnership, the Aternity Frontline Performance Intelligence (FPI) Platform will be integrated into CA Application Performance Management (APM (News - Alert)). The integration is designed to provide enterprises with extensive end-to-end visibility of any transaction within any Windows application running on any desktop across all tiers of the enterprise.

The real-time analytics will allow the customers to detect problems proactively and conduct probable cause analysis of end user issues before business is disrupted. The collaboration with CA Technologies is expected to extend Aternity’s user-centric proactive IT management architecture.

The combination of CA Technologies and Aternity products will enhance the organizations’ IT management capabilities. The integration will enable the IT managers to detect and pinpoint the cause of application performance problems across all tiers of the IT infrastructure.

Aternity is committed to providing organizations with user-centric, proactive IT management capabilities. Armed with Aternity's 360 degree view of end user experience, advanced analytics for preemptive problem detection and cause analysis, and right-time decision support capabilities, Global 1000 enterprises enjoy the empirical evidence on how application performance and usage impacts business results, leading to constant improvement. The partnership is expected to result into dramatic reduction in business disruption and increase in user productivity.

“This partnership demonstrates CA Technologies’ commitment to further expand our industry-leading, full-featured Application Performance Management portfolio. As IT organizations continue to evolve dynamically across traditional, virtual and hybrid cloud environments, it's important that they have the capabilities to help ensure the quality of the end user experience from the desktop,” general manager of service assurance at CA Technologies Mike Sargent explained in a statement.

Last month Aternity announced partnership with dinCloud, a pioneer of the next-generation data center, to deliver continuous Quality of Service (QoS) monitoring of application performance, usage, and SLA metrics from the perspective of how the end users are actually experiencing IT services in the cloud.
