Samsung Admits to High Level Customer Service E-mail

By Oliver VanDervoort, Contributing Writer

Despite the fact that the company doesn’t have an iPhone (News - Alert) to call its very own, Samsung is still one of the top consumer gadget companies in the world. Rising to the top of any sector in the business technology market is no small task and any number of different factors has to converge in order to allow a company to be the cream of the crop. Obviously having some of the best gadgets on the market doesn’t hurt, but there is more to a successful business than merely having the most bells and whistles or the shiniest toys.

Samsung (News - Alert) understands that giving their customers the best customer service they can is a very big deal. The company has set up a call center in which people can call for all kinds of different support questions and comments, but on occasion people still aren’t happy with the customer service they are receiving.

Because of this, the company has actually set up an e-mail address that will allow people to get a more direct customer service connection at a level higher up the food chain. This particular e-mail address is actually considered an “Executive Customer Service” contact and should only be used as a last resort.

While Samsung says that anyone may use the e-mail address, Officeofthepresident@sea.samsung.com, they have requested that anyone who feels the desire to send an e-mail to this address should have already tried contacting the regular 800-number first.

Samsung would rather that this e-mail did not get inundated with contacts with people asking why their power cord is suddenly not registering or how to reboot the computer if they haven’t first exhausted the other avenues. Skipping 1-800-Samsung and using this e-mail address without going through the right chain could end up with the company just rerouting any and all e-mails that go to that address back to regular customer service.
