In its continued efforts to form strategic alliances in various industries and to expand its ability that augments its service offerings, Colocation America - a provider of colocation services, dedicated server hosting, and connectivity - has extended its Channel Partnership program.

Launching the next stage of its Channel Partnership program, Colocation America (News - Alert) aims to target companies within the vast data center industry, VOIP services industry, and new market ventures.

Colocation America currently has 22 state-of-the-art data centers in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and New Jersey. The company’s data centers are equipped with high-quality redundancy, connectivity, and security.

“We are more strategically aligned than ever before to take on new partnerships,” said Albert Ahdoot, business development manager for Colocation America, in a statement. “Our relationships with leading VOIP providers have proven to us the advantages of forging partnerships with companies whose clients require colocation and dedicated server services. Given our recent success working with new resellers, we are looking forward to building new relationships and sharing our knowledge of the industry with our partners.”

Before expanding its Channel Partnership Program, Colocation America earned HIPAA Certification recently as well as met data security standards for payment card industry, also called as PCI (News - Alert) DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

Offering a comprehensive selection of data storage and management options, Colocation America’s data centers had to pass a rigorous audit ensuring that these facilities follows the Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) set by HIPAA inspectors.

Achieving 100 percent up-time last year, Colocation America has formed a multi-homed network that provides the foundational backbone for 22 data centers operating nationwide, powered by Tier 1 carriers including Global Crossing (News - Alert), Level 3, and Saavis.

In addition, the company’s recent partnership with Dome9 (News - Alert) - a firewall management service provider - has proven to be very successful for both companies. Dome9 Security is a cloud server security service to automate cloud firewall management, closing ports such as SSH, RDP, and MYSQL otherwise left open so administrators can connect to and manage their servers.

Under the terms of the agreement between Colocation America and Dome9 Security, Dome9 will be offering its first-of-its-kind cloud security firewall management service to Colocation America's growing customer base.
