In a bid to position its services as the highest value offering in the UK’s highly agitated retail colocation marketplace, Netwise Hosting recently introduced a dramatic price-cut for its server colocation services at its South London data center.
Just a few months back, the company introduced its innovative live colocation quotation service, called Colocation Calculator, allowing clients to generate real-time pricing based on their own unique specifications. The aggressive pricing structure enables Netwise to offer one of the most highly competitive service sets in the hosting industry.
“The retail colocation market needed waking up - our new figures now put us in line with wholesale market prices, something yet unseen in the London colocation marketplace. Our new price-points place us right at the epicenter of demand for this type of service in the capital, and I have no doubt that we will reach capacity very quickly,” managing director at Netwise Hosting, Matthew Butt commented in a statement.
In a news statement, the company confirmed that it will continue to offer world-class service to its global clientele at this competitive price, by fully leveraging its privately owned London data center.
“We have always garnered a lot of interest in the colocation marketplace. Whether it be our unique service sets, or our innovative approach to doing business in this industry, people seem to really sit up and take note of what we do here at Netwise. This is our biggest change yet, as we reposition ourselves as the highest value premium colocator in London - matching our existing position in the dedicated server market more closely,”
senior manager and leader of the marketing team at Netwise Hosting, Matt Seaton, said.
Under the new price structure, Netwise will offer full rack colocation enclosures at just £699 (USD 1135 approximately) per month until January 2013, with eight amps of dual feed power, 16 APC (News - Alert) remote reboot ports, 20Mbps of Committed Data Rate (CDR) bandwidth, and 16 IP addresses. Prices are expected to stabilize thereafter at £799 (USD 1297 approximately) per month for full racks.
Half racks are now bundled with four amps of dual feed power, eight APC remote reboot ports, 10Mbps of CDR bandwidth, and eight IP addresses at £399 (USD 648 approximately) per month.
Quarter rack packages now come with two amps of dual feed power, four APC remote reboot ports, 5Mbps of CDR bandwidth and 4 IP addresses at just £199 (USD 323 approximately) per month.
