CA Technologies (News - Alert) has been named a Value Leader by Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) in the EMA Radar for Enterprise Network Management Systems (ENMS): Q4 2012.

According to the company, this ranking reflects a distinction for solutions that achieved the best combinations of product reliability and affordability.

EMA (News - Alert) also recognized CA Infrastructure Management as having Best Extensibility – Large Deployments.

Customers of CA Technologies were especially happy about how they appreciated features within CA’s IM solution, which allowed them to add, test and certify new management interfaces.

They didn’t have to use direct services or support from CA Technologies to achieve this task.

This industry analyst report evaluated 16 current ENMS solutions from 15 vendor providers in a broad variety of measures related to product strength, overall cost affordability and total strength of the vendors. According to EMA, Value Leaders are recognized as those vendors who offer solutions that achieve the best combinations of product strength and cost efficiency.

“EMA’s recognition of CA IM as a Value Leader is a testament to the terrific guidance provided by our highly engaged customer community during the development process, and to the strength of our engineering and product management organizations,” said Mike Sargent, general manager, CA Technologies. “CA IM is ushering in a new era of infrastructure management by helping enterprise IT professionals and service providers resolve service problems as much as 25 times faster at up to 50 percent lower total cost.”

Recently, the company was positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant in Gartner’s (News - Alert) “Magic Quadrant for Integrated IT Portfolio Analysis Applications (IIPA)” report. CA Clarity (News - Alert) Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) assists users in enhancing their bottom-line performance, by continuously adjusting the allocation of their finite resources with their constantly changing business requirements.
