CoreXchange Expands Services to Offer Data Center Colocation Solutions

CoreXchange, a Web hosting provider, has expanded its services to begin offering data center collocation, with high-capacity connectivity and power. The plan is to be able to offer a place for more customers to store data and/or connect to a variety of telecommunications providers and networks.

CoreXchange, headquartered in Dallas TX, is an Internet service provider that has expanded to an all-in-one source of data center collocation services and networking solutions. The company said its mission is to deliver collocation solutions that can be used by businesses of all sizes, for any need.

“Our collocation services are delivered by the industry’s most experienced team of network engineers and support specialists, who continue to design new solutions that address the ever increasing demand for outsourced IT infrastructure and connectivity issues,” the company states.

CoreXchange has two data centers in Texas: CoreXchange Infomart, located just outside of downtown Dallas; and CoreXchange Connection, located in central Dallas.

Between the two, CoreXchange handles information from companies such as Bank of America, SoftLayer (News - Alert) and Internet Commerce Exchange.

Tom Jeffrey, president and CEO at Internet Commerce Exchange, said the decision to move his company’s data and IT services to CoreXchange was an easy one. “A lot of factors moved us toward CoreXchange, Inc. including their superior bandwidth offering, turnaround time for a quick installation and location at the Dallas Infomart,” said Jeffery. “We ultimately chose them as our provider due to the experience of their management team and immediate availability of their technical support staff.”

CoreXchange said many companies switch over after they realize their data will be stored on the industry’s most reliable IP network, made up of connections to multiple Tier-1 Internet backbones.

“CoreXchange offers carrier neutral collocation with a wide choice of cross-connect provider options. The CoreXchange network architecture is designed to deliver the fastest and most reliable connectivity at an accessible price point for any business.”
