Hudson Fiber Network (HFN) reportedly partnered with Cross River Fiber to enable connectivity from Mahwah, NJ to three remote financial locations in Secaucus, Newark and Carteret.
The NYSE Mahwah data center was launched to deliver colocation space for trading firms seeking high-speed access to the exchange’s matching engines – servers that match buy and sell orders and provide updated pricing information.
Recently, NYSE announced the Mahwah data center will be opened to outside carriers serving the financial trading community who now have easy access to three key financial hubs at the fastest speeds available via the Mahwah route.
HFN hopes to take advantage of the situation and establish routes to link Mahwah to three major financial hubs. Customers can pick from a variety of choices available to them, including dark fiber, lit services and passive wave circuits along the new routes.
“HFN’s investment in these new routes underscores their commitment to delivering low-latency, high-bandwidth network solutions to financial customers throughout North America and on a global basis,” said Vincenzo Clemente, CEO at Cross River Fiber. “We are continuing to forge ahead with other routes, and this is just the beginning of future developments that will solidify our market leadership.”
Cross River Fiber reportedly has a unique and customized discipline to deploying dark fiber infrastructure, and its comprehensive approach to network service design and implementation concentrates on the current fiber landscape offered by other carriers and its method of bettering it.
The company builds fiber networks using 100 percent new optical glass. The network is ultra-reliable and secure.
HFN said it’s thrilled to be in a strategic partnership with Cross River Fiber, whose expertise in building ultra-low latency network solutions for the financial community makes Cross River the ideal partner to deploy on such strategic services for its customers.
