Specialized Products Company, a manufacturer of telecom tool kits, announced the addition of TrueConect Punchdown Tools to their Pro-Series Tools lineup. The TrueConect Punchdown Tool Pro-Series is designed and manufactured to offer precise, repeatable and reliable terminations every time.
Telecom Tool Kits is a comprehensive selection of off-the-shelf tool kits that can be used by telecommunications specialists and professional system integrators and installers.
In a release, Pete Smith, President of Specialized Products Company said, “The TrueConect Punchdown Tool is designed for daily use by Cable Installers, AV, Security, Commercial, Residential and IT professionals. The rugged TrueConect Punchdown Pro-Series Tools offer unprecedented value and comparable features to higher priced competitors for only $32.95.”
According to officials, the TrueConect Pro-Series Punchdown Tools are capable of terminating and trimming wires in 66 and 110 style cross connect blocks and wall jack modules. The force impact settings are adjustable for high and low settings and are precisely controlled. The tool series also comes equipped with twist-and-lock blades, which are interchangeable with competitive punchdown tools.
The tools feature an ergonomic embedded rubber finger grip and blade storage compartment in the handle activated by an easy release button. Blades may be included or not in the TrueConect Pro-Series Punchdown Tools, said officials.
Specialized Products Company also assembles Custom Tool Kits according to user needs. These customized tool kits may be designed according to various applications. The custom tool kit will only include those items required by the buyer so that wasteful expense on non-required items is eliminated.
The customer service personnel will assist buyers in creating a single part number for their custom tool kit so that they can be easily ordered. Furthermore, the customer can give the tool kit requirements directly, or get guidance from a custom tool kit expert to assemble the required kit, said officials.
The company’s 150 tool case styles, multiple pallet designs and a varied set of tool brands including Klein Tools, Greenlee, Xcelite, Ideal, WIHA and TrueConect enables the creation of different design tool kits to suit different needs.
In January 2012, Specialized Products Company launched a premium quality series of RJ-Type modular plug connectors. The TrueConect modular plugs feature three offset insulation displacement points, providing 40 percent more surface area inserted into each conductor at termination. More contact area assures a better connection and overall conductivity over the long run. Thus, the life span of the connector is superior to any other modular plug connector design.
