Conterra Broadband Services, a provider of facilities-based broadband services for wireless and wireline carriers, K-12, healthcare, government entities and select enterprises, recently selected Centina Systems’ NetOmnia to enhance its network performance.
Conterra Broadband Services caters to schools, healthcare organizations and enterprises in underserved parts of America, and now with the deployment of NetOmnia, the company looks to provide a comprehensive, end-to-end fault and performance management solution to its nationwide mobile backhaul network to meet stringent customer service level agreements.
“Centina Systems’ NetOmnia solution has allowed Conterra to improve network performance and assist in meeting our client SLAs,” said Dennis Francis, president and COO at Conterra.
According to Centina officials, NetOmnia was built on the latest technologies to support fault, performance and service assurance. It provides a comprehensive service and customer-centric visualization and monitoring capability that is technology-independent and does not require extensive ongoing resources to maintain complex correlation and suppression rules.
Centina Systems claims to assist the service providers in attaining a new level of customer-centric assurance that helps them run their businesses more effectively and concentrate on the customer relationship.
“Conterra is focused on enhancing the customer experience, and we’re proud to be a part of that goal,” said Anand Gonuguntla, co-founder and CEO at Centina Systems. “Centina Systems’ NetOmnia provides the innovation and focus that aligns with Conterra’s commitment to provide their clients with high quality service and support.”
Based in Plano, TX, Centina Systems provides service assurance and service quality management solutions for communications service providers worldwide.
Recently, Centina Systems unveiled a new module of Centina’s NetOmnia Service Assurance solution, the Ethernet Assurance solution, ideal for mobile backhaul, broadband and optical transport services.
