Recently, Euronext, a global provider of financial markets and innovative trading technologies, installed the ADVA (News - Alert) FSP 3000 in its new Secure Financial Trading Infrastructure (SFTI) access center, the company stated in a press release.

The ADVA FSP 3000 was stringently tested at the company's lab facilities to successfully qualify as one of NYSE Euronext's technology partners. To make sure that that every element of the ADVA FSP 3000 met the demanding standards, a global team of ADVA Optical Networking's (News - Alert) engineers and support staff partnered with technicians from NYSE Euronext in these places. To provide seamless operation, ADVA Optical Networking's team also provided NYSE Euronext with in-depth training on the ADVA FSP 3000.

In 2008, TMC’s (News - Alert) Shireen Dee reported that the company deployed the Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology by inexio. inexio successfully increased its telecommunications backbone’s transmission capacity by deploying this ADVA FSP 3000 platform based technology. Helping inexio in keeping up with the requirements of customers, the deployment has also equipped it with an Ethernet-based and MultiProtocol Label Switching (MPLS)-based network.
