CommScope has established itself by providing critical infrastructure for building high-performing wired and wireless networks. Recently, the infrastructure solution provider announced a pre-terminated copper connectivity solution, intended to deliver speedy and easy deployment of large-scale cabling infrastructures in data centers and deliver a future migration path to higher performance systems.
The solution is called InstaPATCH QUATTRO, and for now it is available only in North America and Latin America. The InstaPATCH QUATTRO is a 10GBASE-T and 1GBASE-T cassette and trunk-based connectivity solution, designed to deliver high performance with “plug-and-play” simplicity, for quick data center delivery and simple modification as a network’s needs evolve.
Care has been taken to maintain consistency and quality, and hence each InstaPATCH QUATTRO component is factory tested and certified by Fluke Networks (News - Alert) equipment. According to the company, the InstaPATCH QUATTRO solution is quite easy to install and is adaptive and reliable in demanding environments.
InstaPATCH QUATTRO solutions include panels, modular cassettes and trunk and breakout cables, and seeks to be a fully comprehensive cabling solution (copper, fiber and cabinet) for true end-to-end fast deployment of connectivity.
With InstaPATCH QUATTRO, clients can deploy pods and/or data center modules, and at the same time evolve their platform to accommodate complex technologies.
“Infrastructure succeeds when it is supported by accurate and reliable certification,” said David Veneski, director, Datacom Installer Business Unit, Fluke Networks. “We appreciate the opportunity to apply our expertise in testing to a cabling solution designed for tomorrow’s data centers.”
