In keeping with its mission to help curtail the massive growth in demand for high-speed communications, Sea Fibre Networks, Europe's most advanced sub-sea telecoms network, announced its newest product – Bright Fibre via Celtix Connect.

Under a Sea Fibre Networks Service Agreement, Bright Fibre lets service providers and enterprises own a dark fiber sub-sea backbone infrastructure and optical equipment, managed by Sea Fibre Networks, allowing customers to reduce their risk and costs by avoiding any interface issues during an outage.

"As on-going demand for international bandwidth continues to increase, growing 45 percent in 2011, a new wave of companies wish to own their own network infrastructure but lack the resources,” said Diane Hodnett, Sea Fibre Networks' CEO. “Bright Fibre facilitates these organizations to exploit new Internet based opportunities to manage in-house with greater certainty and massive cost-savings."

Sea Fibre Networks offers C-Fibre products, primarily Dark Fibre and Bright Fibre (backbones) which they lease to service provides or large enterprises, usually in five, 10 or 15 year increments.

All products are tailored to the customer’s specifications and managed by Sea Fibre Networks.

The company is a carrier neutral, sub-sea telecoms provider of network solution for digital services, offering innovative and flexible proactive management, monitoring systems and the transport of data on a state-of-the-art network from Ireland across Europe, which supports massive digital services.

“Ireland's continued success in attracting digital services foreign direct investment is dependent on its ability to deliver on the fundamentals of high capacity communications infrastructure – the most critical of which is a modern sub-sea cable capable of transporting content and data in and out of the country securely and at the highest speeds,” said Pat Rabbitte, Irish Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.
