TE Connectivity to Enhance its Platform with Brand New Applications

TE Connectivity (News - Alert) will be moving forward with the release of a new platform that is sure to mean a huge shift in the way that the central office works. The NG4access ODF platform is a brand new distribution frame that relies on optical fibers and comes with an adapter pack and module station.

The platform offers equally good front are rear access for technicians and compatibility in terms of mixing and matching fiber connectors. The platform features many new developments and applications never before seen in the industry. 

More and more, providers are finding it necessary to access data from the rear in order to adjust the equipment for prime functionality. This new way of doing things has revolutionized the services that providers are expected to facilitate. This platform is just as easy to access from the rear as from the front, which makes technicians’ jobs a lot easier when flexibility is key.

The changing landscape of IT makes it necessary for there to be more and more flexibility on the parts of providers and technicians, as technology develops more quickly than ever before. This software is revolutionary in terms of what TE has been pursuing. 

The NG4 also comes with an adapter pack that is made to support any different types of connectors and modes. This makes for a simplified ID process for technicians. Mixing and matching types of connectors and modules in key in this technological landscape that includes many new and untested gadgets.
