2X (News - Alert) Software recently announced full compatibility of its 2X ApplicationServer XG with Microsoft RDP 8 RemoteFX, Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8. The 2X Client for Windows, available for no extra cost, is capable of supporting all the features associated with RDP 8 RemoteFX when run in Direct and Gateway Modes.

Users can now use their Windows 8 desktops and applications to connect to their work or home PC from any device, even while on move with the 2X Client RDP/Remote Desktop, available for no extra cost.

Currently, the free 2X Client RDP/Remote Desktop is available for Android (News - Alert), iOS and BlackBerry users.
