The company known for making hard plastic flexible by way of its patented grooved design and process, m2fx, recently established a new partnership with CORE Telecom Systems. Part of m2fx's expansion in the U.S., CORE will act as the company's key distribution and technical support partner in the country.
"CORE are a perfect fit for m2fx, we recognize that CORE have strong technical ability and in-depth market knowledge that is essential for m2fx to service our telco & cable company clients requirements, we have been really impressed with the CORE team and look forward to our new partnership," said Larry Malone, president of m2fx Americas, in a statement.
CORE Telecom Systems is a provider of new and used telecommunications equipment from a number of manufacturers, while also lending its expertise in network systems integration to services providers in the U.S. and Caribbean.
In all, the company provides telecom products, installation and service for its customers.
Jim Boarman, president and CEO at CORE Telecom Systems, stated that m2fx's product line sits well among CORE's initiatives with optical LAN equipment, which drives FTTDesktop in applications including enterprise and campus housing, as well as FTTHome deployments.
Best known for its Miniflex Protection Tube, Cable and Microduct products, m2fx is a specialist in FTTX cable/microduct routing products that are both tough and flexible. This offers fiber lines the protection they need will still flexible enough to allow for faster and more efficient installation in many scenarios.
In other recent dark fiber news, Texas Instruments this week debuted a new family of wireless automotive connectivity solutions. Called WiLink 8Q, this new product range is designed with high-performance features, enabling hands-free wireless connectivity and automotive infotainment.
Also this week, Allied Telecom Group partnered with InfoRelay Online Systems to establish high-speed connectivity by way of both dark fiber and lit fiber in the Washington, D.C. area.
