OptiXsoft and Agizer Partner to Unveil Fiberizer Cloud for Improved Fiber-Optic Management

Two small European companies, OptiXsoft and Agizer, have recently announced a partnership that will introduce Fiberizer Cloud, new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) for improved fiber optic management and analysis.

OptiXsoft, based in Minsk Belarus, provides software development with a range of embedded, system/low-level and application services for fiber-optic telecommunications equipment. Agizer, located in Lithuania, is a design center of measurement equipment specializing in circuits, hardware, firmware and optical components, among others.

Although both companies are experienced in fiber optic testing and development, as they are not large they found that smaller companies were having a hard time installing, launching and maintaining in-house management or database-related systems.

That’s precisely why the two companies partnered to introduce Fiberizer Cloud – to eliminate the necessity of storing multiple copies of a company’s OTDR traces. Creating a new trace project with Fiberizer Cloud is much easier.

Users need to simply open up the program, click on the top left to create a new project then upload their OTDR traces. Fiberizer supports Telcordia (News - Alert) GR-196 & SR-4731, making it compatible with most OTDRs available on the market. It also allows users to easily perform a trace analysis along with quick loss, attenuation and reflection measurement with the cursor.

It also has the ability to remotely store and analyze any fiber optic testing data directly from the browser opened on a desktop PC or notebook that is connected to the Internet.

Fiberizer mobile will be available to clients on iOS and Android (News - Alert) in the near future, giving users full control of its traces by implementing an edit tool where users can add, edit and even delete trace events.

Inside the edit tool, users are given even more control by being able to change the trace properties.

With Fiberizer, one can create compact detailed PDF files based on their own OTDR traces.
