Carrier-neutral data services are the latest trend with service providers as they provide easy connectivity to a wide range of carriers. It becomes easier for service providers to build their communication networks and enhance the end user experience if they have a Carrier-neutral data service. This type of service is also ideal for companies who need to use different types of connectivity options.

Zayo Group (News - Alert) has announced that the company has partnered with EvoSwitch to provide connectivity to its customers at major US and European networks and locations. With this agreement, the customers of both the companies can easily have access to US and European networks, the company has stated.

The agreement will have Zayo supplying Bandwidth Infrastructure solutions to EvoSwitch. The EvoSwitch data centers will now have dark and lit fiber services from Zayo and this will help the users extend their presence in other locations easier than ever before.

Zayo provides Dark Fiber networks which help customers in administering various aspects of networks such as quality of the network and signal strength. The company owns all the networks it provides and according to the company, this ensures continuous operation. Owning a network also means quick deployment and rapid troubleshooting.

Stephanie Copeland, Senior Vice President for Zayo Group commented: "Zayo is focused on connecting high bandwidth locations, like EvoSwitch across our network footprint. We have deepened our partnership with EvoSwitch by providing our infrastructure to offer their customers in both the US and Europe an easy, reliable solution for advanced network infrastructure needs.”

The company has been entering many partnerships as of late. Recently, it announced a partnership with Volta. According to the agreement, Zayo will provide fiber-based connectivity to Volta data center users. These users are mainly found in the financial sector.
