It recently achieved Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) CE 2.0 certification and is now an MEF Carrier Ethernet Accredited Training Provider (ATP (News - Alert)). The Carrier Ethernet 2.0 certification program is a continuation of the highly successful MEF Certification Program that began in 2005. CE 2.0 brings significant value added benefits, matching the Enterprise users’ application performance needs to MEF services with specific SLA’s, accelerating global deployment and optimizing bandwidth use and costs.

CE 2.0 extends the original purpose of Carrier Ethernet with vital added features, including multiple class of service, greater manageability and easier interconnects for eight standard service types. MEF CE 2.0 certification provides them with the clarity and peace of mind that the solutions they select have met the stringent standards for the MEF.

Accedian has also been designated a MEF Accredited Training Provider. Accedian is one of seven global organizations permitted to provide instruction with regards to MEF CE training. In its release, Accedian also revealed information about its 2013 MEF training schedule.
