Allied Fiber’s (News - Alert) Dark Fiber Community (DFC) has announced it has accepted a new member into its family. With over 130 members already, Allied Fiber has decided to welcome Colo Atl into its DFC, which serves as a portal for access to the entire dark fiber industry.
“Colo Atl is pleased to join Allied Fiber and the Dark Fiber Community, and looks forward to further extending access to the premier provider of enterprise and carrier-neutral colocation, interconnection and data center services to our fellow DFC members,” comments Tim Kiser, Owner and Founder of Colo Atl.
Colo Atl provides customers with enterprise and carrier-neutral colocation, interconnection and data center services and is based right in downtown Atlanta. Its facility is designed to facilitate carrier relationships and is excelling at that.
The facility doubles as the home to the Georgia Technology Center (GTC) and serves as a testing bed and live facility for network communications and interconnections. Also located within the building is the Southeast Network Access Point (News - Alert) (SNAP), which provides next-generation Internet Exchange (IX). Welcoming GTC and SNAP into its facility was no coincidence; it was done through careful consideration of what the community was looking for.
“The Colo Atl space was developed to allow tenants to efficiently cross-connect with the space, allowing them to establish a presence to network with other carriers within the building. The additional rollout of GTC and SNAP within our facility is a further testament to Colo Atl’s commitment to truly listening to what our community wants, and building upon our ‘customer first’ philosophy,” added Kiser.
The DFC provides its members the correct information and contact details for the industry’s leading vendors. By providing venders with the best possible information, vendors are able to set up one-on-one meetings with suppliers from all over the world, and due to Colo Atl’s innovative technologies, the DFC is excited to add its newest member.
“Colo Atl provides convenient and affordable interconnection options via its carrier-neutral colocation facility, also while delivering innovative network technologies that exceed the objectives of not just the Dark Fiber community, but the global Internet community as a whole,” said Hunter Newby (News - Alert), Founder and CEO of Allied Fiber and Founder of the Dark Fiber Community.
