Mellanox (News - Alert) Technologies, Ltd., a company that provides end-to-end connectivity solutions for data center servers and storage systems, recently announced that Applied Micro Circuits Corporation has deployed its end-to-end FDR 56Gb/s InfiniBand and 10/40 Gigabit Ethernet interconnect solutions for its X-Gene ARM (News - Alert)-based platform. With the help of Mellanox solutions, the X-Gene provides an efficient ARM-based infrastructure for data centers, cloud providers and application developers.
Mellanox's full FDR 56Gb/s InfiniBand end-to-end portfolio for data centers and high-performance computing systems includes switches and cables. Mellanox's SwitchX family of FDR InfiniBand switches and Unified Fabric Management software incorporate advanced tools that simplify networking management and installation, and provide the needed capabilities for the highest scalability and future growth.
