Adrecom Enhances Web presence and Back-End Web Site Management for Non-Profit Organization

By Shamila Janakiraman, TMCnet Contributor

Adrecom has announced that it transformed the Web presence and back-end Web site management functionality for a non-profit organization in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Company sources added that the entire project was completed in three weeks and was successful in enhancing the organization's business and brand identity. The Adrecom Web Portal CMS Platform provided the tools that the client required to update and manage their site. It also enabled the addition of modern and powerful features like blogging, videos and others.

The client organization offers fun dance instruction and classes which will create new positive outlets for youngsters. The growing organization needed to enhance its Web site management capability and also make its presence felt on the Internet.

The Adrecom Web Portal CMS Platform has helped the organization's Web site to be up to date. Previously it was difficult for internal staff to maintain, and lacked mainstream content modules like corporate blog, videos, and picture galleries, said Adrecom sources.

Adrecom's Legacy Transformation or "LT" department made a clear study of the client's requirement and developed a comprehensive Web 2.0 site transformation strategy and an ongoing content management strategy for the client.

The solution from Adrecom involves integrating a Photoshop rendition of the site design into the non-profit edition of the company's CMS Web portal solution. The content management and interactive modules were also enhanced. The LT approach has restructured, reorganized and transformed the organization's static content into accessible modules for easy editing, adding features, archiving and other critical site maintenance operations.

The internal staff of the organization can add articles, industry news, picture galleries, videos, donation information, blog posts and other Web elements via Web browsers easily. The company's built-in WYSIWYG browser-based text editor also makes the editing and updates process simple, said Adrecom sources.

"We saw that this non-profit organization was having a tremendous community impact, but that it was losing momentum on the Internet because of an outdated web site,' said Lev Kacnelson, CEO of Adrecom. "Our Adrecom Web Portal CMS Platform gave them the tools to easily update and manage their site, while also adding modern and powerful features such as blogging, videos and more. Now, they're ready to tackle the future.'

Site deployment was completed in less time as the Web Portal solution is based on Rapid Extensions Architecture Platform or REAP. This is a unified portal and Web content management framework which facilitates launch of corporate portals, Web content management solutions, e-commerce sites, and Web enabling projects.
