XFONE, Inc. announced it has successfully completed the build-out of its Fiber-To-The-Premise or FTTP network in Levelland, Texas.

Company sources added that the Levelland network adds 6,200 passings to XFONE's FTTP footprint.

 "We are very pleased to have the opportunity to provide this community with access to high speed broadband services. We started signing up Levelland customers in August 2009 as portions of the network were operational, and officially kicked off our marketing activities in November 2009," said Guy Nissenson, president and CEO of XFONE.

"Since then, we have seen a strong response to our voice, video and data triple play service. We will continue to work diligently to secure sales and complete installations in pursuit of our goal to reach 69 percent of the Levelland market," Nissenson added.

Commenting further on the company's achievement Nissenson said that the Levelland project was financed by a low cost federal loan. This build out is expected to serve as a blueprint for all planned future projects while entering new markets. He expressed his pleasure on being able to complete an important step in the expansion of the FTTP network of XFONE.

XFONE offers several communication services including local, long distance and international telephony services; video; prepaid and postpaid calling cards and cellular services. Its operations cover the United States, the United Kingdom and Israel. The company serves customers worldwide by providing other services like Internet services and messaging services which include e-mail/Fax Broadcast, Email2Fax and Cyber-Number besides providing reselling opportunities.
