Datapipe Joins AWS Partner Network (APN)

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Cloud hosting provider Datapipe recently announced its membership with Amazon Web Services' (News - Alert) (AWS) Partner Network (APN) as an Advanced Consulting Partner.

The AWS Partner Network (APN) is a new global program that offers partners the technical information and sales and marketing support they require to improve their business on AWS. APN Technology Partners are commercial software and internet services companies that create solutions that run on, or are complementary to, AWS.

Technology Partners include Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), SaaS, PaaS, developer tools, management and security vendors.

Cloud hosting provider Datapipe (News - Alert) recently announced its membership with Amazon Web Services' (AWS) Partner Network (APN) as an Advanced Consulting Partner.

Showcasing its management of flexible cloud solutions for customers on the Amazon Web Services platform, Datapipe will contribute to the APN with webinars, case-studies and best practices. The company provides a single provider solution for managing and safeguarding mission-critical IT services, which consist of cloud computing, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, colocation and data centers, the company stated in a news release.

“Enterprise organizations are faced with a double edged sword; on one side, there are developers and business managers making their own cloud decisions, on the other, the CIO needs to manage spend, and provide governance and visibility back to the business,” said Ed Laczynski, Datapipe's VP of Cloud Strategy. “Datapipe couples its excellence in providing governance and guidance to enterprise with years of experience working closely with AWS, to deploy and manage even the most complex cloud environments.”

Recently, TMC’s (News - Alert) Calvin Azuri reported that the company considerably enhanced its Stratosphere Elastic Cloud Computing Platform. The Computing Platform is now the only Apache CloudStack platform in the industry with these new improvements. The new cloud offering from Datapipe, based on the Citrix CloudPlatform, will now be available across Silicon Valley, the New York Metro area, Northern Virginia, London, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
