ParentLink Unveils TruSend K-12 E-mail Tools

ParentLink, a provider of communication solutions for education, announced the launch of TruSend, its e-mail tools for users of the ParentLink communication platform.

TruSend will enable schools to benefit from additional tools that improve the quality of appearance, delivery and management of e-mail messages.

A set of e-mail templates and advanced editing tools to create messages and e-mail newsletters are offered as part of TruSend. With these templates and tools, schools can now create a professional look, while effectively conveying the school or district's colors and brand.

ParentLink’s TruSend allows users to know when and who received any given e-mail. They can also see if the recipient actually opened the message.

“TruSend is a great example of what can happen as we listen to our partner districts and create innovative products that meet their specific needs,” said John Graff, president of ParentLink, in a statement.

“A huge percentage of our customers send newsletters home to parents, usually in print form. And many of those districts would like to save the time and expense of creating those newsletters on paper and send them electronically,” Graff added.

The company is offering the TruSend e-mail tool as part of the innovative ParentLink communication system and is free to current ParentLink license holders.

“The ability to send professional looking newsletters, e-mails, text and phone messages from not only one application but from one screen saves me time and makes me more efficient,” said Skip McCambridge, director of District Operations at Azle ISD, one of the partner districts.

Recently, ParentLink announced the launch of a new Android (News - Alert) application, ParentLink Admin, for administrative users of the ParentLink notification service. Its mobile application for the Apple iPhone received tremendous responses from administrators at customer districts.
