Dr. Nick Karnik, president and CEO at IN Media Corporation and a technology entrepreneur, noted that schools and colleges all over the world are adopting tablet PCs as learning aids, using electronic text books and tablet PCs that are not only cost-effective and ecologically friendly but are also lighter than heavy schoolbags.
To this end, IN Media planned to enhance its product line and add more educational tablets for children ages six and upward and as an incentive, the company received a financial impetus from Estrategia Investimentos, SA, to finance the manufacturing cycle of IN Media tablet PCs in China.
It received $16 Million Documentary Letter of Credit facilitating the manufacturing of Android (News - Alert) and Windows 8 OS Tablet PCs.
"This financial support would help us to make advance payments to suppliers for parts and manufacturing. This will enable us to reach out to larger markets, and is certainly a giant leap for the company," said Karnik, commenting on the credit.
Also, IN Media upgraded its line from Windows 7 to Windows 8 OS as officials felt that the latter would be better suited for heavy duty business needs and also infotainment apps.
An integrator of IPTV (News - Alert) services, products and content, IN Media has also promised to supply Global Green Holdings with tablet PCs for its education program commencing in 2013 and renewed the recent memorandum of understanding for two more years. In addition, it has also qualified in terms of product features and safety measures required to childproof IN Media tablet PCs for educational use.
N Media Corp. , announced that it has signed an agreement with Global Green Management to sell new Android based Tablet PCs to Global Green’s Education for Children initiative in South East Asia and Africa. Global Green Management agrees to pay 90 percent in advance for projected quarterly requirements after 30 days from invoice.
