GSX (News - Alert) Solutions, a provider of server monitoring, reporting, email hosting and management software for Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, BlackBerry (News - Alert) Enterprise Server (BES) and Lotus Notes, recently unveiled the latest version of GSX Monitor & Analyzer. This new version of this innovative email hosting solution has the potential of reducing Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange performance complaints by up to 70 percent.
Swiss company GSX Solutions is the global leader in proactive, consolidated monitoring, analysis, and management of enterprise collaboration and messaging environments. Touted as a Microsoft Systems Center Alliance Partner, Microsoft Silver Partner and a BlackBerry Alliance Elite Partner, GSX Solutions is capable of providing automated email hosting and server maintenance for Domino and Windows-based servers. And GSX Monitor & Analyzer is currently being used to monitor millions of mailboxes for over 600 global enterprises across the globe.
“Exchange monitoring and reporting can still be done manually if you have the expertise, but why go through such an arduous, repetitive process when GSX can now do it for you, automatically? By continually interacting with your system as a user, GSX automatically alerts you to emerging issues,” CEO of GSX Antoine Leboyer, explained in a statement.
GSX Monitor & Analyzer now includes a vast array of SharePoint features, which include a display of used and remaining licenses by category, support for all SharePoint versions including WSS 3.0 and SharePoint Foundation 2010, the ability to retrieve SQL aliases, support for distributed SQL server backends, and new graphs and access time alerts for SharePoint Web Services.
Additionally, the email hosting software assures around-the-clock availability and performance for Exchange 2010. The new release provides pinpoint alerts that enable Exchange administrators to head off emerging issues and dramatically reduce user complaints.
Some of the key features of GSX Monitor & Analyzer for Exchange include a new overview console that automatically discovers and detects your entire Exchange environment in a consolidated view, proactive monitoring of Database Availability Groups (DAGs), and CAS Arrays to ensure high system availability. The new release is better capable of managing disk space using customizable threshold and escalation parameters. It is also able to automatically monitor critical Exchange Windows Services for each role.
Just last week, GSX Solutions announced GSX Monitor & Analyzer support for Microsoft's System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). To read the full report, click here.
