Small businesses have now been extended access to productivitytools from email hosting solution Microsoft Office 365 from conferencing and collaboration service provider InterCall (News - Alert). These new resources will be made available through InterCall's eCommerce Portal which will aid small businesses in utilizing integrated audio solutions that had at one point only been available to larger companies.

Services in the Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 365 package include email through Microsoft Exchange Online, Web conferencing with Microsoft Lync Online, Microsoft Office Web Apps, and Microsoft SharePoint Online. Employees with access to these programs will be able to view and modify shared calendars and documents, as well as quickly organize impromptu meetings. 

Further, using these Microsoft Office tools through the eCommerce portal will give small businesses all the advantages of cloud computing without be required to install extra equipment on their premises. Marco Limena, vice president of Operator Channels at Microsoft commented, "Today's small businesses face many challenges, one of which is keeping their operations up and running. The InterCall solution for Office 365 allows them to focus on their strategic business goals and not on provisioning IT equipment."    

Also available through the eCommerce portal will be InterCall's Reservationless-Plus Audio Conferencing which allows business owners to host conference calls at their convenience with no operator necessary and with up to 150 participants. The audio conferencing solution also provides ease in communication between business teams locally and around the world including toll free dial-in for international calls. Online conferences can be held using mobile or landline phones or through VoIP.

A new "Redefining the Cloud" ad campaign by InterCall has also been launched in conjunction with the availability of Microsoft 365 to draw the attention of small businesses to the advantages of using the new services.
