With BYOD gaining momentum and an increasing number of users relying on mobile devices to access emails, security has become a major concern for enterprises and email hosting providers alike.

Voltage SecureMail Mobile Edition delivers data-centric protection for emails and attachments, offering end-to-end protection across the entire message lifecycle from laptops, enterprise applications and cloud-based consumer services to smartphones and tablets. 

Further, the email protection software allows mobile users to read encrypted messages sent from Voltage-enabled desktops, gateways, enterprise applications and other mobile devices. It works with native mobile email client apps for iOS, Android and BlackBerry (News - Alert).

Another important feature of the solution is that it provides granular, centrally managed message-level mobile policies that simplify regulatory compliance for sensitive email content inside and outside the enterprise.

Voltage SecureMail Mobile Edition can be deployed across a dispersed enterprise user population quickly and with minimal operational cost.   The solution supports cloud email messages using popular Web-based email hosting services.

In another significant industry partnership to heighten security within email hosting, Infinitely Virtual, a California-based email hosting company, and McAfee (News - Alert), a company that specializes in the security space for SaaS Total Protection have created a joint solution that provides endpoint, email, Internet and network protection.
