Campaigner, an e-mail marketing service and a brand of j2 Global (News - Alert), has now been integrated with new functionalities that would bring together the features of email programs and social platforms which can help users adopt a more holistic approach to online marketing and brand development.
The service was built for marketers and non-marketers alike for easily creating and sending highly personalized, one-to-one e-mail communications to subscribers and customers, in order to build better relationships.
Campaigner is reportedly the ideal service for beginners who don’t have a lot of time or money to spend on e-mail marketing and new social sharing capabilities. Increased visibility can improve the efficiencies of e-mail marketing programs without the need for additional resources or prior social networking experience.
With the new ‘share-with-your-network’ (SWYN) functionality, for instance, one can pass along e-mails received on their own networks via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google (News - Alert)+ using sharable permalinks. The new Campaigner ‘sharebar’ helps e-mail marketers supplement social sharing links inside of e-mails so that subscribers can pass along content like promotional offers and insightful newsletters to prospective subscribers.
“The synergies between e-mail marketing and social media are evident, particularly as e-mail marketers explore the value of enabling their messages to be easily shared on social networks like Facebook (News - Alert) and Twitter,” said Paul Turnbull, product manager at Campaigner. “Instead of having to deal with both an e-mail marketing service and social media management tool, customers now have the ability to share messages on multiple social platforms through one easy-to-use interface.”
Additional features of the service include: compatibility with latest versions of Firefox and Google Chrome browsers; Quicklinks, helping to store often used hyperlinks like subscription management and social media into any e-mail campaign; the ability of users to log in to the service using their own credentials; and Campaigner’s Smart E-mail Builder, upgraded with more text formatting and alignment controls.
