Intermedia (News - Alert), an email hosting provider, has just expanded its management team by appointing two new vice presidents.
Connie Adcock, a 35-year seasoned customer service executive, formerly of 1-800-Flowers and National Car Rental, will be the new vice president of Client Services. On the other hand, Luis Curet, a 30-year sales and business development executive, will be Intermedia’s vice president of Direct Sales.
“We are excited to welcome two new members to the management team who bring leadership, deep knowledge and experience in key areas of our business,” said Phil Koen, chairman and CEO, Intermedia, in a statement. “Both Connie Adcock and Luis Curet will be fundamental in helping Intermedia continue its course of growth and innovation across the cloud services industry.”
In her new role as vice president of Client Services, Adcock will be responsible for Intermedia’s global technical support team. She will evolve and scale the company’s extraordinary global customer service organization as its continues to grow. Adcock has already seen great success in the past when building, mentoring and developing high performing customer service teams.
She holds a large amount of experience creating and implementing innovative solutions in high growth companies including building supporting capabilities for customer acquisition, cross-sell/up-sell and retention leadership, as well as career development programs. Most recently, Adcock worked as vice president of Shared Services at Vertex (News - Alert) Data Science, leading the international, virtual shared services team and supporting global outsourcing operations with 32 call centers and 15,000 employees.
Joining the email hosting company as vice president of Direct Sales, Curet will be responsible for providing senior leadership of the direct sales organization. Intermedia is rapidly growing its customer base with 40 percent growth year-over-year and with Curet onboard, the company looks to continue that growth while expanding in new regions and markets.
Prior to joining Intermedia, Curet held the role of senior vice president of the Americas for M86 (News - Alert) Security, a provider of Web and e-mail security solutions. Before M86, he was a vice president at encryption and information security company, Rainbow Technologies, where he oversaw sales and corporate marketing for the commercial business unit.
