Microsoft (News - Alert) 8 is a significant change from the other operating systems put out there by Microsoft because it takes advantage of the latest in touchscreen technology as well as the “live tile” application development system. Microsoft has also made their Windows 8 be more of a common platform for all the devices that are running the operating system, whether that means a desktop computer, a laptop or a mobile device such as the slate and even their latest smartphones.

Support.com was able to work with beta releases of Windows 8 in order to tailor their special kinds of software to the brand new operating system. Because of this, their software platform has features that are specific to this operating system, making it that much easier to use and that much more powerful for people who are actually trying to use their software on a Windows 8 device.
