In a bid to prevent email threats and save companies from phishing attacks and confidentiality leaks, R+V Versicherung, a general insurance company in Germany with seven million customers, has chosen the Good for Enterprise solution to simplify the integration of employees’ own mobile devices with corporate email and other essential systems.

This allows the inside sales force, not equipped with company-standard devices, to easily synchronize their work email, as well their contacts and appointments, with their own smartphones.

Good Technology (News - Alert) is a company involved in secure enterprise mobility solutions. The Good for Enterprise solution will help R+V Versicherung’s IT department undertake time-consuming and costly support and administration for Outlook synchronization on the employees’ personal phones.

“We wanted a technology that would be accepted by users while being secure, future-proof and easy to manage,” said Michael Jostock, IT Architect in the Basic System Infrastructure department at R+V Versicherung.

R+V Versicherung has allowed inside sales staff to synchronize their contacts and appointments with their personal device by installing the relevant software on each of the desktops – primarily for iOS and Android (News - Alert).
