Recently, email hosting provider Intermedia was recognized as the “Top Player” in the 2012 Microsoft Hosted Exchange (News - Alert) Market Quadrant report released by analyst firm The Radicati Group.
Touted as a company that powers cloud services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and the largest Microsoft Exchange hosting provider currently on the market, it was selected by the firm after the company’s integrated, turn-key cloud platform was compared with those offered by other competitors in the hosted e-mail category.
Intermedia (News - Alert) offers Fortune 50-level IT services based on cutting- edge technology, giving smaller sized enterprises the tools and resources needed to compete like larger corporations.
In a statement, Sara Radicati, president and CEO, The Radicati Group (News - Alert) said, “The report is a competitive analysis of the hosted business email market in North America and we are pleased to see Intermedia rank so highly. Intermedia is one of the largest and fastest growing Microsoft hosted Exchange providers, and offers a full range of services, including email, instant messaging (IM), document management, backup, mobility, Hosted VoIP, and Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC). Intermedia has a solid line of offerings to target the SMB market that scale from a relatively basic plan to much more sophisticated offerings with email encryption and other advanced features. Intermedia also has a strong development team, which helps it to quickly rollout new solutions and features. For customers and partners who required a high level of expert support Intermedia stands out.”
The email hosting provider’s Office in the Cloud solution combines Intermedia’s services for backup, mobility, security, voice and more, with popular Microsoft services such as Exchange, Lync and SharePoint. Intermedia’s proprietary HostPilot Control Panel on the other hand, manages the integrated suite of cloud communications and collaboration services and provides customers with a single point of communications control in an intuitive user interface.
