Touted as a provider of email marketing and lead automation, recently TailoredMail has unveiled a new offering, version 6.0 of its EmailApptimizer, a solution which turns e-mails, landing pages and microsites into instant mobile touchscreen applications. Ultimately, this will significantly improve processes related to email hosting.
Matt Highsmith, CEO at TailoredMail, said in a statement, that EmailApptimizer automatically detects a mobile device and then instantly turns the e-mail and landing pages into an interactive experience. He added that mobile campaign deployments are instantaneous and engagement rates quickly rise.
EmailApptimizer enables website tracking, lead scoring, drip-and-trigger tools, CRM integration, and sales team analytics. Businesses can leverage this product to create nurturing campaigns with significantly improved response rates for prospects on mobile devices.
The market for smarphone and tablets is growing exponentially and there is an increasing need for email hosting services on an array of mobile devices. TailoredMail found that the percent of e-mails being viewed on a mobile device now total nearly 39 percent, which is almost double that of a year ago.
Additionally, the new offering also provides users with the ability to create stand alone mobile micro sites or entire company websites. In addition to offering support for touch gestures and navigation menus, its other features include profile forms, Google (News
- Alert) mapping, interactive polls, click-to-call, offline viewing, image galleries, archives, video and save-to-home-screen functionality.
Doug Strohm, president at Tudor Game, commented that EmailApptimizer is “slick.” He said that the first e-mail that his company sent using the email hosting innovation looks great on both desktop PCs and mobile devices, and when a customer clicks a link the newsletter instantly turns into an interactive mobile app full of rich content.
Customers can engage with it much like any other mobile application they're already familiar with. Strohm concluded, “Tracking and analytics allow us to identify the interests of our customers, and begin great conversational interactions with each subsequent touch.”
