Email hosting has become one of the most commonly used forms of communication technology in the industry as providers allow for premium e-mail services along with custom configurations and a large number of accounts. SherWeb, a provider of Microsoft (News
- Alert) Exchange-based email hosting solutions, has just released its Hosted Exchange 2013 offering. Touted as the first company to launch a hosted version of the latest version of Exchange, SherWeb remains at the forefront of hosting solutions, TMCnet reported.
In January of 2012, the email hosting provider was invited by Microsoft to provide feedback in regards to the new platform.
“SherWeb has worked diligently since January to master this new e-mail platform,” said Rima Hatoum, product manager at SherWeb, in a statement. “As a respected world leader in Exchange, SherWeb has always been among the first to release Microsoft’s latest versions and 2013 testifies to this leadership.”

Touted as a provider of email marketing and lead automation, recently TailoredMail has unveiled a new offering, version 6.0 of its EmailApptimizer, a solution which turns e-mails, landing pages and microsites into instant mobile touchscreen applications, TMCnet reported.
Ultimately, this will significantly improve processes related to email hosting.
Matt Highsmith, CEO at TailoredMail, said in a statement, that EmailApptimizer automatically detects a mobile device and then instantly turns the e-mail and landing pages into an interactive experience. He added that mobile campaign deployments are instantaneous and engagement rates quickly rise.
EmailApptimizer enables website tracking, lead scoring, drip-and-trigger tools, CRM integration, and sales team analytics. Businesses can leverage this product to create nurturing campaigns with significantly improved response rates for prospects on mobile devices.
In other email hosting news this week, Access Hosting, a Microsoft-centric remote desktop and SQL 2012 solutions and services, recently added Access Services 2013 hosting to its suite of products.
With the latest incarnation of email hosting solutions such as Microsoft Office and SharePoint 2013, Access Services 2013 now enables the company to deliver solutions for a wide variety of cloud-based scenarios. These include: remote desktop support for databases running on Access 2007, 2010 and Access 2013, Access 2007, Access 2010, and Access 2013 applications running on the iPad, iPhone (News - Alert), Android and Microsoft Surface tablets; SQL Server 2012 connected to custom Access 2013 applications using a frontend/backend architecture; and support for both Access 2010 and Access 2013 Web databases using hosted Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013.
