Message Bus Issues Industry's First Quality of Service Guarantee for Transactional Emails

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Transactional emails are any email sent to an individual depending upon on some action. Registering your name in a new website and the welcome mail a company sends you is one example.

And while it may seem like irritating protocol in your inbox, these messages are important to the business of a company.

Realizing this, Message Bus has introduced the first ever email guarantee for transactional and triggered emails. According to the company, these emails can be password resets, abandoned shopping cart notifications, delivery confirmations, receipts and other interactive messages.

Transactional emails sent via Message Bus' Global Delivery Network will be created and sent to a receiving ISP in 30 seconds or less. The newly unveiled Global Delivery Network is a service that allows companies, application developers and email service providers send truly reliable messages.

Transactional messages offer an audit trail and close the loop on conversions through electronic receipts. Transactional messages automate various user service functions which consist of password resets.

According to Gartner (News - Alert), 20 to 50 percent of all helpdesk calls are for password resets.

“The first communication many users have with a given company or web property, mobile or otherwise is through the transactional email that confirms their registration," said Jeremy LaTrasse, CEO and cofounder of Message Bus. "This is an organization's chance to make a lasting first impression, and it's surprising that no one has provided any kind of quality of service guarantee to ensure this critical message type is delivered on time, every time.”

Recently, Opscode, a source of cloud infrastructure automation, announced that Message Bus has installed Opscode Hosted Chef. With this, MessageBus may automate configuration, environment and application management across various cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers powering the company's innovative service.

The Message Bus Global Delivery Network is a cloud-native application service for multichannel email, mobile and social messaging.
