Ever since Microsoft Exchange 2013 was released with new features, such as support for other OS-based mobile devices, enhanced e-mail retention, improved eDiscovery, support for cloud and much more, many organizations have been seeking to migrate to it.

But the process is cumbersome. 

In an effort to help such organizations adopt Exchange 2013 easily, BitTitan, Inc. – a provider of cloud based email solutions – has announced support of email migrations to Exchange 2013 using its MigrationWiz solution.

As cited by BitTitan, MigrationWiz is a patent pending email migration solution that provides mailbox migration services through a fully automated cloud-based solution that can be accessed at anytime from anywhere to perform a seamless mailbox migration on demand.

Eliminating the installation of additional hardware or software, MigrationWiz can conduct a seamless transition to the new messaging system using a simple Web browser.

Consumers can sign up, configure, and initiate a migration in a very short period of time using the Web interface.

The MigrationWiz.com Web interface provides automated e-mail migrations from all supported systems, including VMware Zimbra (News - Alert), IBM Lotus Notes, Google (News - Alert) Apps, Microsoft Office 365, Novell GroupWise, IMAP, POP, and previous versions of Microsoft Exchange, to Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 directly.

Apart from providing the convenience of migration from anytime, anywhere, MigrationWiz eliminates the need for human interaction with mailbox credentials, and supports SAS (News - Alert) 70/PCI environments.

In addition, as quoted by BitTitan, it is cost-effective featuring fixed fee for each mailbox migrated.

MigrationWiz can also easily integrate into complex migration projects or migrate to a single mailbox. Some of the advanced features incorporated in the solution also allow users to customize projects by selecting a data center location, scheduling the migration, or specifying administrative credentials.

According to sources, Jaap Wessellus, an independent consultant from The Netherlands and Exchange Server MVP, recently tested the product. While testing, the consultant evaluated the MigrationWiz solution to migrate mailbox data to a new Exchange 2013 environment.

Wessellus said in a statement, "Migrationwiz helped me to migrate from one Exchange 2010 environment to a brand new Exchange 2013 environment without any issues, fast and easy. Whenever possible I'd like to use Migrationwiz for Exchange migrations."
