Marketo (News - Alert) has announced record results in the third quarter of 2011. The organization saw a 122 percent year-over-year increase in its revenue. More than 150 customers were also added by Marketo during Q3. Momentum with large enterprises companies was built in Q3 by Marketo's powerful yet easy-to-use marketing automation and sales effectiveness solutions. Apart from winning several key industry awards, the organization executed numerous successful thought leadership initiatives. Marketo is a fast-growing provider of Revenue Performance Management or RPM solutions.
In a release, Phil Fernandez, president and CEO of Marketo, said, "We continued to see our business accelerate in Q3, and are more confident than ever that we currently have more customers, and are growing faster than any other vendor in the RPM space. Marketo is making our customers wildly successful."
According to Fernandez, customers and partners are delivered the expected high levels of service, innovation and guidance by Marketo. By being at the forefront of the RPM movement, the organization looks forward to accelerate growth in this challenging economy.
Both large and small customers across numerous industries have been signed by Marketo in the third quarter of 2011. These included Angel MedFlight Worldwide, Delta Dental of California and Affiliates, Generations Federal Credit Union and Magus Ltd. among others.
Kathryn Ross, director of direct marketing at Delta Dental of California, said, "We chose Marketo's marketing automation and sales effectiveness solution because of their ability to meet our complex lead management needs and to reach diverse audiences, as well as for their customized service and support."
Marketo expanded its global support capabilities in Q3 to support its swiftly growing international customer base. Earlier in the year, Marketo had established its European headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. Support engineers and infrastructure have now been added to this headquarters. Marketo's commitment to significantly expand its global presence has been underscored by this expansion.
The winners of Marketo’s first annual Revenue Performance Excellence Awards were announced in August. Marketo customers were recognized by the "Revvies" for their outstanding achievements. The customers’ top position in revenue performance management through their use of the Marketo platform was also recognized by the "Revvies."
