The global wireless M2M market has witnessed considerable growth in 2010. This is mainly because of the global economic recovery. Experts predict that shipments of wireless M2M communication units, which include modules, integrated terminals and chipset based solutions, recorded an increase of 48.0 percent. This means there 37.0 million units sold in this period.
