GuardRFID Unveils Active RFID-based Evacuation

Helping companies in complying with OSHA 1910-38(c)(4) regulations, Guard RFID Solutions (News - Alert) has introduced Evacuation Monitoring and Personnel Accountability solution.

GuardRFID’s AllGuard platform provides state of the art Evacuation Monitoring and Personnel Accountability solution that ensures safety of workers. According to the company, the product is designed to help them in complying with OSHA 1910-38(c)(4) regulations.

To offer companies with important demographic data when they need it most when the employees could be at risk, the system provides GuardRFID’s field-proven 433MHz Active RFID sensing and locating network and highly dependable communication protocols and location algorithms.

GuardRFID’s 433MHz technology is an ideal option for range, immunity to physical shielding and radio-frequency interference, and smaller, lighter tags that have a long battery life, irrespective of whether they are used within an office premises or a heavy industrial environment

These companies have tried other technologies such as passive RFID and SMS using cellphones, but none have come close to matching the reliability of our solution.”

Recently, the company announced that its Argus AllGuard RFID solution for RTLS and security has now been combined with Software House’s CCURE 9000 Security and Event Management System. To provide reliable asset and personnel tracking and security, The GuardRFID Argus AllGuard RFID platform provide active RFID tags, RFID infrastructure, and server/client software. Along with the movement of people and assets within facilities in real-time, Argus AllGuard considerably adds improved awareness and accuracy about access control events.
